Event marks record attendance and opens debates on casinos, sports betting, municipal lotteries and sustainability of the sector
The biggest betting event ever held in the federal capital, the BiS Brasilia 2025started this Tuesday (21), at Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada, bringing together the main names in the iGaming industry, public authorities and representatives of the main associations in the sector.
Organized by BiS SiGMA in partnership with the ABRAJOGO (Brazilian Gaming Association), ANJL (National Association of Games and Lotteries) and ANALOME (National Association of State and Municipal Lotteries)the meeting exceeded public expectations. Full auditoriums, intense exchange of contacts and a networking environment marked the first day of the event.
THE co-founder of BiS SiGMA, Alessandro Valenteofficially opened the program with a welcome speech, highlighting the importance of the federal capital as a stage for the sector’s most strategic discussions.








🎰 Physical casinos return to the center of the debate
The opening panel, “The potential of investing in Brazilian tourism with the legalization of casinos”brought back a historic topic for the sector: the regulation of casinos and bingos in Brazil.
THE senator Irajá revealed that the project that legalizes casinos can be voted on in the Senate Plenary later this yearreigniting market expectations.
Already the Mayor of Olímpia (SP), Geninho Zulianistated that the municipality is ready to receive a physical casino as soon as the legislation is approved, remembering that the city already has a law that authorizes resorts integrated into the sport.
The conversation also included Magnho Josépresident of the Brazilian Legal Game Institute, and Roberto Quattrinimanaging director of Novomatic.
🏅 Betting and encouraging sports
The second panel highlighted the importance of investments by betting houses in different sports, highlighting the positive impact of this contribution for the promotion of national sport — far beyond football.
Participated in the debate Jorge Borçato (president of Fenapaf), Ana Bárbara Teixeira (ABRAJOGO), Mauricio Santos (MCS) and Barbara Teles (Stake Brasil / AMIG), discussing the balance between sponsorship, responsibility and credibility in the sector.
🏛️ Municipal lotteries gain strength in the debate
The third panel brought to light a topic that has been gaining ground across the country: creation of municipal lotteries.
With dozens of cities already articulating projects to increase local revenue, the speakers defended the need for a specific legal framework to ensure legal certainty and transparency.
Among the participants were Camilo Brito (Analome), Paulo Horn (Special Gaming Commission), Ana Helena Pamplona (ABRAJOGO) and the deputies Julio Arcoverde and Newton Cardoso.
📊 Betting market from a public and corporate perspective
Closing the first day, the table “Arena of Numbers: the betting market from the perspective of businesspeople and the government in Brazil” brought together different perspectives on the challenges and opportunities of regulation.
The debate featured Plínio Jorge Lemos (ANJL), Giovanni Rocco (National Sports Betting Secretariat), Renato Silva Siqueira (Caixa Loterias) and João Gallucci Rodrigues (Poder360), highlighting the role of dialogue between the public and private sector in building a sustainable and competitive environment.
