The president of LoterjHazenclever Lopes Cançado, will be one of the highlights of the BiS Brasília program, which takes place on the 21st and 22nd, at Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada. He participates in the panel “The Impact of State Lotteries on the Socioeconomic Development of Brazil”, alongside important names in the sector, in a debate that promises to highlight the role of state lotteries in generating jobs, income and social investments across the country.
Also on the table are Rodrigo Cigliutti, executive director of CIBELAE (Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas de Estado); Roberto Brasil Fernandes, founding partner of Brasil Fernandes Advogados; Everton Sales, Operations Director at Lotese; and Francisco Petrônio, superintendent of the Paraíba State Lottery (Lotep).
During his participation, Hazenclever Lopes Cançado should reinforce the role of state lotteries in the new scenario of the gaming and betting sector, highlighting the importance of a solid and balanced federative model.
“State lotteries are much more than fundraising instruments — they are engines of social development, generation of opportunities and innovation. Rio de Janeiro showed that it is possible to regulate responsibly and promote inclusion. Now, the challenge is to make the whole of Brazil move forward with balance and courage”, said Hazenclever Lopes Cançado.
The panel is part of the BiS Brasília program, an unprecedented meeting promoted by BiS SiGMA in partnership with ABRAJOGO and ANJL (National Association of Games and Lotteries). By holding its first edition in the federal capital, BiS SiGMA reaffirms its commitment to bringing the betting sector closer to the institutions responsible for regulating, supervising and legitimizing the activity in Brazil.
For two days, the event will bring together authorities, parliamentarians, regulators and representatives of the main companies in the industry, to discuss strategic topics such as regulation, combating the illegal market, legal security, taxation, sporting integrity, responsible gaming and governance.
BiS Brasília appears as a new space for dialogue and integration between public managers, operators and representative entities, strengthening the debate on the future of lotteries and betting in the country from a perspective of sustainable development and respect for the federative pact.
