Lottopar reinforces partnership with the Scientific Police of Paraná


The CEO of LottoparDaniel Romanowski, and the administrative and financial director, Rogério Nogueira, participated this Monday (27) in the inauguration ceremony of the new director general of the Scientific Police of Paraná, Ciro José Cardoso Pimenta. The presence of the state authority reinforced the continuity of the partnership between the institutions in combating financial crimes in the State.

During the ceremony, Lottopar highlighted its cooperation with the Scientific Police and thanked former general director Luiz Rodrigo Grochocki, who ended his tenure as head of the body.

“Dr. Luiz Rodrigo Grochocki leaves a great legacy in his management of the Paraná Scientific Police. His contributions and actions ennoble and give due value to the body that is so important for the security of Paraná society”, stated Daniel Romanowski.

The partnership between the institutions includes an investment of R$10 million from Lottopar for the implementation of the Integrated Data Processing and Analysis Center (CIPAD), a Forensic Laboratory to Combat Financial Crimes under construction in Curitiba.

The resources for this project come from activities supervised by the local authority, ensuring that revenue returns to society through strategic investments in vital areas such as security.

The new laboratory will focus on detecting and investigating money laundering, asset concealment, illegal financial operations, corruption and cybercrimes. The resources allocated to the project come from activities supervised by Lottopar, with the aim of directing revenue towards strategic initiatives in the areas of security and technology.
