The government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul through the Gaúcha Reconstruction Secretariat (SERG), will hold on January 26, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., a online public hearing to present the State lottery services concession project and receive suggestions and contributions from society.
The objective is to guarantee transparency and expand the debate on the process of delegating the implementation and operation of lottery services to the private sector, which will include modalities such as fixed-odd bets, prediction, instant and traditional lotteries, in addition to others that may be authorized by federal legislation.
According to the regulationthe hearing will be broadcast virtually, with participation open to the public and access limited according to the platform’s capacity. The transmission link and other information are available on the RS Parcerias Program website (https://parcerias.rs.gov.br/loterias).
Interested parties can register in advance by email at consultaloterias@serg.rs.gov.br. During the session, there will be space for oral and written demonstrations, limited to three minutes per participant, in addition to the possibility of sending contributions via chat. Questions not answered during the event will be included in the Public Hearing Final Report, to be published on the program portal.
According to the government of Rio Grande do Sul, the project seeks to modernize and expand lottery services, increase the efficiency of public management and contribute to the generation of revenue aimed at financing social and economic policies in the State.
