Partnerships and new launches
The exclusive partnership of Evolution with Hasbro is a central point of optimism for the company. With an expanded content roadmap for 2026, the company plans to launch multiple live and RNG (random number generator) titles under the Monopoly brand, in addition to more than 110 game launches in total. Among the planned releases are major game shows and hybrid formats such as Game Night and Monopoly Filthy Rich.
The CEO of EvolutionMartin Carlesund, highlighted that customer reception to the new games was extremely positive, especially during the ICE Barcelona event, where customers were ‘stunned’ by the games presented. The company believes that this robust line of launches should widen the gap on competitors and drive new momentum as markets mature.
Regulatory challenges and opportunities
Evolution has introduced, for the first time, a detailed geographic analysis of revenue based on players’ IP addresses, in addition to the traditional location-based view of customers. This additional disclosure reflects the increasing regulatory scrutiny surrounding the channeling and origins of players.
In Europe, the company highlighted that it has some of the most stringent compliance standards among suppliers, but warned that falling pipelines in several markets are affecting performance. “We believe we currently have the most stringent protection measures of any provider in Europe,” the company said.
In Asia, management cited ongoing cybercrime and regulatory frictions, but noted a stabilization in the Philippines. ‘We have made some progress in mitigating cybercrime…at the same time, we see good development in the Philippines, where the regulatory framework is becoming more stable.’
Expansion in the United States and Latin America
In the United States, Evolution is betting that live dealer penetration will increase as the market matures. Carlesund noted the stalled expansion of states legalizing iGaming and the pending launch in Maine. The company has relaunched Ezugi as a second live brand and continues to expand its studio capacity, including new facilities in Michigan and New Jersey.
North America and Latin America posted record revenues during the quarter, with the Brazil being cited as a key growth engine. Evolution said its purchase of Galaxy Gaming is on track, although approvals are still pending in two states, including Nevada.
Ongoing litigation and investigations
Evolution faces ongoing litigation with Playtech and a review still pending by the UK Gambling Commission. Executives stated that the litigation ‘takes its due course…it is ongoing, and will always be slow, and will be with us for a while.’
Regarding the UK regulator’s investigation, the company said it has not received any updates since last summer, but that the commission has been very cooperative. Evolution framed these issues as part of a challenging but manageable compliance scenario rather than a company-specific disruption.
Despite regulatory frictions in Europe and Asia, Evolution’s tone was confident, anchored on content scale and studio expansion. ‘We’re going to deliver an absolutely fabulous product… expansion will be in full swing in the US and Latin America… and we’re looking forward to 2026.’
“If we could just have a stable environment…”
