Government of MS summons Prohards for technical test at Lotesul

Prohards moves forward to operate Lotesul and offers transfers above the minimum required

The bidding to define the company responsible for the technological platform of the State Lottery of Mato Grosso do Sul (Lotesul) moved forward this week with the call for Prohards Comércio, Desenvolvimento e Serviços em Tecnologia da Informação Ltda. to carry out the Proof of Concept (PoC), a practical stage provided for in the notice. The evaluation is scheduled for March 4, at the Executive Secretariat for Digital Transformation (Setdig) in Campo Grande.

Prohards, which operates in the State of Paraná lottery (Lottopar), came in second place in the initial phase of the electronic auction after the LottoPro disqualification Betting Games and Lottery Management Ltda. — for not having integration with the electronic safe required by the notice. With progress, Prohards had its proposal to transfer 36.11% of gross revenue accepted for the next phase.

The proof of concept consists of the practical demonstration that the technological solution offered fully meets the functional and technical requirements required in the competition, including the ability to integrate and communicate data with state government systems. The platform must manage sales, payments and taxes, in addition to ensuring security and operational compliance during the contractual term.

Lotesul’s electronic auction, estimated at R$51.4 million, has already undergone suspensions and adjustments to the notice in recent months, in the face of technical and legal questions about the competition’s requirements. The dispute has attracted interest from companies specializing in lottery solutions across the country due to the revenue potential and the strategic role of the state lottery in the State’s gaming and betting model.
