THE Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance authorized the BB Gaming Ltda operating a second brand in the Brazilian online betting market. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Wednesday (29), through Portito SPA/MF nº 1,166/26.
With the change, the company starts to operate in the country with the BRA and XX brands. Until then, the authorization granted by the federal government only allowed the operation of the BRA brand.
The new ordinance changes the terms of SPA/MF Ordinance No. 92, published on January 13, 2026, which had formalized the company’s initial authorization in the Brazilian regulated market. According to the Ministry of Finance, the change was made based on updated information presented in the company’s administrative process.
The decision was signed by the Secretary of Prizes and Bets, Daniele Correa Cardosoand is based on the provisions of Law No. 13,756 of 2018 and Law No. 14,790 of 2023, which structure the regulated sports betting and online gaming market in the country.
